Community knitted garden project

'Blooming Marvellous' I am a community artist who is organising a large intergenerational community knitting/crochet project in partnership with Bournemouth Libraries where I am inviting people of any age or ability to make work for a community knitted garden exhibition in Bournemouth in May 2011 in the central library and then it will travel to some of the other libaries in the area. More particiapnts, groups, schools, clubs wanted to help create this exciting project. The knitted garden will creep, cascade and bloom over 3 floors of the library. People are knitting vegetables for a veg garden, and a teddy bears picnic for the childrens section of the library. We also have a knitted Eve and Adam being made and I am knitting tree roots and a lawn mower from garden string.
