Knitting for Charity

Does anyone know of any projects that can be knitted for charity? We have started a knitting club in Bolton and some of us would like to knit for a charity.

I know Battersea is in London, but I am sure you could find more local deserving places.

You need to join www.ravelry.com! This is a fantastic resource for any stitchers, and there are lots of British groups on there. Lots of free patterns and groups with ideas for charity knitting. Your local hospital will probably have a need for tiny baby clothes etc.
