Knitting Project at the Heritage Centre
knit1 13/04/11
The Heritage Centre is a small volunteer-run local museum in Bellingham, Northumberland, on the edge of the magnificent Northumberland National Park and within easy reach of Hadrian's Wall and Kielder Water & Forest. They have started a new knitting project on the 4 April, asking visitors to the museum to knit a long scarf. They are recording the names and the towns or districts of knitters so that we can make a map at the end. The project will run for at least a year!
