Ruthie Ford Day!

Ruthie Ford came to our school craft club on 21st November. http://www.ruthieford.blogspot.com/ I met her at the craft club training day in Sheffield she was doing one of the talks there. She came and talked to our children about her work which they loved graffiti knitting was a new and fascinating subject and one I think has seriously inspired them all. Ruthie had brought along her knitting table that she had made which the children absolutely loved and everyone got to have a go. Then we all made pom poms in a way that we hadn't tried before that resulted in quick and wonderfully speckled pom poms. Then we hung them all on the big fir tree in the play ground. Every single Junior child joined in and it was so much fun. We had mums and grand mas come in and help. Even the headmaster got into the swing of it and loved every minute and is already asking when she can come back and play!!! Claire
