Teenagers

I'm starting a craft club for teenagers at the further education college I teach at. Any ideas of crafts they would enjoy that don't cost a huge amount, and ways of encouraging them to join would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Kathy,how about recycling plastic bags and other throw-away items to make sustainable craft? There is a great film about how to cut up a plastic bag to make 'plarn' on the site http://bit.ly/nnsEta. This can be used to 'finger knit' or crochet without the use of any needles. Otherwise you can make your own giant needles out of broom handles.
