Felting fleece around a pebble makes a lovely pebble pot
Pom poms, tassels and fingerknitting are all popular in my group
I heard about making felt by hot washing an old wool jumper, combining that with lots of odds and ends (literally) of wool, even lay the bits on to make a design, then wet it all with some soap and roll it about like a rolling pin wrapped in bubble wrap. The threads should all combine to make a felt picture which can decorate a bag or be a mat or a pencil case or a book cover. I had a goo with sheeps wool once and thats what we did, but I don't see why it wouldn't work with a jumper if it was wool, not acrylic.
Why not knit a cat cushion? There is a great pattern in the File Transfer area. Or if you have done that you could teach yourself to crochet. Try downloading the crochet tips and follow the step-by-steps.
