It was apple day in our village last week. It is done to celebrate how the whole village used to help harvest the apples. It is held in Shatton where everyone can take the apples from their garden and have them turned into Apple juice or fritters. Our school wanted to make a display to be put on show on the day. So the infants took some time to look at lots of varieties of apple and pick out wool in those colours and then make a pom pom apple with a little paper leaf.
